To receive your complimentary flu shot, simply download the Flu Shot Voucher and redeem it at any Save-On-Foods location in British Columbia. Remember to make an appointment at your location of choice and read the voucher carefully. Vouchers are valid until December 16, 2020, however, the flu vaccine is in high demand this year, so schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
Flu Shots will only be administered to those five years of age or older. If you require a flu shot for a child younger than five years of age, contact your primary care physician. Read more about the importance of the flu vaccine.
IMPORTANT
If when making an appointment, you are asked to select an add-on, please ignore this and continue with your booking.
If no bookings are currently available at your Save-on-Foods locations, this may be due to Flu product availability.
There is a high demand for flu shots this year. This unprecedented year has created a shortage and a delay of the public vaccine in all markets across BC. As a result, some pharmacies have had to start canceling flu vaccine appointments.
We know that getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever and want to help ensure you still have access to a flu vaccine if you want one.
Follow the prompt below that fits your situation:
Already have a flu vaccine appointment scheduled? Call the pharmacy ahead of time and let them know you are part of the PBC/Save-On-Foods Flu Program and that you
- are a member of the BCCA EBT
- have a voucher letter to present, and
- would like the private flu vaccine.
Still need to schedule an appointment? Call one of the pharmacies on the list below to book your appointment. They are providing an exclusive service for members of the BCCA EBT with dedicated vaccine stock until November 30th. When scheduling the appointment, let them know you are part of the PBC/Save-on-Foods Flu Program and that you
- are a member of the BCCA EBT
- have a voucher letter to present, and
- would like the private flu vaccine.
Reminder: Make sure you familiarize yourself with the voucher letter ahead of time and bring a copy with you to your appointment. It contains important health and safety measures and administrative requirements.
